Al Henry Jr. is founder and Pastor of World of Faith Christian Ministries. Before attending Queens College, he graduated from the prestigious High School of the Performing Arts in Manhattan. As a young man, his loves were acting, kung fu, and later boxing. Al was not raised in the church, but always knew that there was a God. Born and raised in New York City, he has been delivered from a life of drug and alcohol abuse. While his mother was from Mississippi, his father was from the Islands. Though he never met his paternal grandmother, he attributes his deliverance from drugs to her consistent prayers.
After relocating to Atlanta in the 1990’s, he was born again and sat under the teaching of Dr. Creflo Dollar. As he matured spiritually, Al served in World Changer’s substance abuse ministry, first as a facilitator and later as assistant director. Subsequently , he was called into leadership as a minister at Everlasting Covenant Ministries under Pastor Chris Bianchi. Afterwards, he received an open vision from God in which he saw himself preaching in a mega sanctuary. God called him to start World of Faith Christian Ministries. The ministry started in his home and is currently located at 1333 Mount Zion Road in Morrow, GA. Pastor Henry is licensed, ordained, and a member of Creflo Dollar Ministerial Association. He and his wife, Laverta Renee Henry, have one son. Together they are committed to fulfilling the vision given to him by God.
